St. Louis, Mo, June 6, 2016 – Polished has been selected for the 2016 St. Louis Award in the Education category by the St. Louis Award Program. This honor recognizes Polished for its excellence in professional and personal development programs, with an emphasis on soft skill training.

Each year, St. Louis Award Program identifies companies we believe have achieved exceptional success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and our community. These exceptional companies help make the St. Louis area a great place to live, work and play.

“It’s an honor to receive this esteemed award. In today’s fiercely competitive job market, you need something other than your technical abilities to get ahead. Businesses want and hire people with strong soft skills – the ability to get along with others, communicate clearly, exhibit confidence, grit, character and self-control. We’re passionate about helping others succeed,” said Nancy Schnoebelen Imbs, principal of Polished.

Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2016 St. Louis Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by St. Louis Award Program and data provided by third parties.
